Refrigeration Capacity

The refrigerator capacity is one of the most important factors when selecting a new fridge. It depends on family size and their food habits, space available in the home and refrigerator price range. Refrigerators are sized in cubic feet. They can be either net or gross. Net is a better indicator of the interior space because it does not include the exterior walls and door.

To determine the refrigerator capacity that is right for your space, first measure the width of the area where you will place the fridge. Then, measure the height from counter to bottom of cabinets (remember to leave room for proper ventilation). Next, consider whether you want a freezer. Top and bottom freezer models are ideal for small families, and they offer the most flexibility in storage. Side-by-side fridges also offer more storage space but they may be difficult to store large and wide items in them. A standard refrigerator has a storage capacity of between 35 and 48 inches high, 30 and 36 inches deep and 22 to 24 inches wide.

This fridge uses heat pipe technology to provide amazing cooling in a compact space. This fridge can be easily installed in any small compartment of your VW camper and requires a low power cost to operate. It also makes very little noise so you will hardly notice it is running. You can even use this fridge on longer trips as it will not cause too much stress on your VW camper’s battery. It has a 48 liter storage capacity for your products.

Convenience

RV refrigerators offer the convenience of being able to use either propane or 12v power sources, depending on the type of power available in your camper. Some RVs even have the option of using 3 power sources – progane, 12v and electric. The selection is made inside the refrigerator, usually by turning a knob that selects which type of power to use. This feature makes it easy to enjoy camping in comfort and stay cool at the same time! Get buying tips and other consumer news delivered to your inbox. You may unsubscribe at any time.
